Welcome!

Welcome to my kindness blog! In this blog, I will write about my experiences with doing an act of kindness everyday throughout 2013. Some of these will be very simple acts, while others will take more planning, time, and money. On day 1, I made my list of things that I plan to accomplish throughout the year. Today, I am starting my blog. These may not necessarily be acts of kindness, but they will allow me to stay organized and keep me on track for the year.

When it came to titling my blog, it took a lot of thought. I wanted to do something that was slightly a play on words, while using something with charity, philanthropy, volunteer, kindness, etc. I asked a few people for some opinions but either it didn't sound right to me, or I just got impatient waiting for a response. I was originally going to use philanthropy but couldn't think of anything that would go with it. Then I sat on the couch for about 30 minutes trying to brainstorm. This still got me nowhere. Then I shifted my focus more on charity. Then I thought of a chariot. A chariot is obviously a mode of transportation. In certain areas, it is seen as bringing war but in several others, it is seen as bringing peace. I don't know about you, but I think there needs to be more of the latter in this world. Therefore, this year I am going to use my chariot to bring more peace to the world and to do 365 acts of kindness.

*If you would like to join me on my journey, just let me know!
