Today's task was fairly simple. It was just to rub a loved one's back. However, I am really not a fan of giving back rubs. Reasoning: I feel like my hands are very small and it takes a lot of energy to rub a man's back. Also, Mark's back/neck creep me out. He has a cyst on his neck that when I touch it just grosses me out. So even though his back grosses me out, I sucked it up and gave him a back rub. He rubs my back all the time, mainly because I make him, but I have never rubbed his back. I think he almost went into shock when I asked him if I could rub his back. Granted, I only gave him about a five minute massage before my hands started to cramp, but I think he appreciated it.
On another note, I got the information for my soldier. I tried to email him but it shot back saying failed delivery. I hope that I will be able to write to him in snail mail form. I'm TERRIBLE at remembering to write letters. I will try to set aside a specific time each week so that way I won't have an excuse not to do it!
Lastly, I am going to try to start doing more exciting things on my list. I have a lot of volunteer opportunities written down. I think I am going to go do more research on them and call it a night.
