Charity Miles

This was not originally what I was going to post about today. I was going to post about small things. When making my list, I decided not to include "holding doors", "waving another driver in", and the likes of those. I didn't include these because I view them as common courtesy. Then again, I feel as though that it a foreign concept to many people nowadays. It is always funny when I hold a door for someone and they respond in shock.

Anyway, my new post is about the app Charity Miles. This is a free app that you can download on any iOS or Android smartphone. It keeps track of your biking, running, and walking miles and for every mile you achieve, you earn money for a charity of your choice. Granted, the choice of charities is slightly limited, but their is a good variety. I was hoping for the Ronald McDonald House, naturally. It wasn't an option. I am still trying to decide between Habitat for Humanity and the ASPCA. I think I am leaning toward the latter. Now that I have downloaded the app, maybe it will give me motivation to do more walking/running/biking. Helping a charity and making me healthier at the same time. Today's a two-fer, ladies and gentlemen. Now go download your app and get moving!
