I don't know about you, but I don't understand why people think they are too busy to return a cart. First, it probably takes 30 seconds at most. Second, you get exercise. Also, if you leave a cart out in the middle of nowhere, it could roll. They do have wheels, after all. With this being said, I was happy to do my part for that person in a hurry and return their cart. It gave the cart attendant one less cart to push and it gave the shopper one more cart to put stuff in. Now you can do your part and return your shopping cart on your next trip to the store.

Return a Shopping Cart
You would think that returning a shopping cart would be a very easy task. You can even make it easier and park next to the corral. Maybe that's why there are always stray carts in the parking lot. I'm going to say there are three types that do not return carts: those that are in way too big of a hurry, those that are just plain lazy, and those that think they are better than doing a simple task. When I arrived at work today, there were several carts strewn all about the parking lot. I parked in a parking space right next to one. I didn't even think twice about walking past it and not returning it. Now, I could have returned it to the corral that was directly across the lane, but that would have been pointless. And when I say directly across, I mean within ten feet. I could have also returned it to where spare carts where parked on the outside of the building. Instead, I decided to just return it to the inside of the building.
