Good Morning
I see about ten people during my morning routine. The majority of these I usually just keep on walking without any acknowledgement. I don't do this to be rude, but usually they have their head in a computer or on the phone or doing something else. This morning, I said good morning to every person I came with ten feet of. It puts into perspective just how easy it is to do an act of kindness each day. Whether it's saying good morning, holding the door, or telling someone to have a nice day, it's quite easy. They all take about a second to do (unless, of course, the person you're holding the door for walks slowly), and they really shouldn't be given a second thought when you have the opportunity. I told a woman to have a great day a few days ago and she responded with 'uh huh'. It would have taken the exact same amount of time and energy to say 'you too'. It's just one extra syllable that isn't even heard! So now, as you go on about your day, I hope that
